Adriana Lima & Eniko Mihalik: Portrait of a Lady (Sort of)

"Remodeling the 70's"
W Magazine // March 2011
Ph. Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin // Stylist: Alex White

Just two simple black-and-white photos tell a complete story of glamour, nostalgia, and androgyny, as Adriana's sensual gaze and Eniko's chiseled features manage to captivate even the quickest of page-turners. Once again, Inez & Vinoodh + Portraits proves to be a surfire formula towards success.

Lindsey Wixson: B&W

"Spring Awakening"
W Magazine // January 2011
Ph. Willy Vanderperre // Stylist: Olivier Rizzo
Just as we were wondering yesterday about where Lindsey's 2011 will go, she starts off her year with a sensational greyscale story by the wonderful team of Vanderperre-Rizzo (Also her second story in two months for the magazine). Contrary to many of her prior works, there is a thorough sense of calm in these photos, but Lindsey herself still brings about touches of flair and intrigue.

Lindsey Wixson: Winter Wonderland

"Family Circus"
W // December 2010
Ph. Paolo Roversi // Stylist: Alex White

Just in time for snowfall, Paolo Roversi takes us into a peaceful wonderland, with Lindsey as the Alice of this beautiful yet haunting journey. The faux blizzard is surprisingly pleasant and serves as a wonderful companion to the Oscar de la Renta and Louis Vuitton gowns, but the John Galliano hat is perhaps the most appropriate accessory for this enchanting story. The complete fairytale can be seen here on WMagazine.com.

Irina Lazareanu: Spectator

"Spellbound"
W // November 2010

In yet another one of her signatures look into the past, Alex Prager provides us with snapshots of a busy day at the races. But it quickly becomes obvious that Seabiscuit isn't in contention at this competition, as the birds above seem to captivate more than the race itself. Meanwhile, Irina channels the women of that period with intricacy, portraying an individual of formalities ready, at any moment, to break out of her shell.
