Formal Complaint

Dear Urban Outfitters
                     Your new carrier bags suck.
Sure they are 'stronger' but there is nothing right about being able to hold a bag full of shopping horizontally at a 90 degree angle. In addition the old bags were not exactly weak; I have never had any issues with the bags breaking before so the why the need for cardboard reinforced handles?
These bags are infact less environmentally friendly than the old paper ones. More trees are being cut down for unessesary excess reinforcement and an awkward shape. Its like a triangle paper lunchbag. Sure they are reuseable, but realistically am I going to be reusing it? No. Especially not with this shape. You try carrying more than one of these at a time, or carrying it in addition to mulitple other bags. It's not great fun let me tell you, especially not in Oxford Street or on the tube. You can't even hang them on your wrists, which is another major annoyance.
Its just a pain in the neck.

I'm sorry, I just can't justify these bags. They are just wrong.
Now you Urban Outfitters people can just sit there in your wrongness and be wrong.
Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Sort it ouuuutttt!

£££££$$$$£$£$£££££$$$$$

I just bought this dress online (urband renewal @ urban outfitters) in the sale (was £125 now £59.99) so that was a bargain. I have bought it for my school xmas ball, and am soooo desperate for these shoes to go with it...

I might die without these babies but at £150 from Ashish @ Topshop I risk not having them.
They are lovely and I recon if I went to Oxford St to try them on they would be comfy.
I would wear them to death.

Do you think it would be a good investment?
I just think cheap shoes suck because they are never comfortable and always look cheap anyway.
I am a believer in 'you get what you pay for'

Here we go round the Mulberry bush, on a lovely spring morning.

The S/S 10 Mulberry collection is just to die for!!!!!!

I already have this bag but its just not enough!

I can not wait until the Luella pictures are put up tommorow. Expect a huge post on it. Punk fluffy dresses and the like; it should be amazing!

I got my London Fashion Weekend tickets today too. I am going on saturday and hope to buy a S/S 08 Luella bag and maybe some clothes depending on the prices. I definately want something batman printed. If I don't have it my life will be over and not worth living. Im sooooooo excited! :D

Oh and I also applied for jobs at Topshop Oxford Street and Urban Outfitters Oxford Street at the weekend. I really hope I get one. Not only do I need one, but they owe me with all the money I spend there. The discounts would be so awesome!
Wish me luck :D!!!!!!!!!! xxxx

Oh my ears and whiskers, how late it's getting!

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?”

top - urban outfitters
skirt - urban outfitters
cardigan - urban outiftters
bag - topshop
shoes - topshop

I just had to have the White Rabbit top when I saw it especially with the release of Tim Burtons version of "Alice In Wonderland" coming out next year. That will be a masterpiece, and I am telling you now that it is 99.9% likely to become one of my favourite films.

Britney was AMAZING! and suprisingly I was the only person there (that I saw) who was wearing an IF U SEEK AMY top. Nobody else had home made ones with t-shirt transfer pictures of Britney on them either, so 1 point to me!

The Unwanted Presents Of Aunty Elle.

This morning my Elle magazine came in the post with a free gift; an 'Urban Outfitters' bag to be precise. At first I wonder as to why Elle would do something as tacky as to give free gifts with the magazine but then I came to the conclusion that perhaps Urban Outfitters payed them alot of money too, as part of a marketing campaign. My illusions of it being a one off, however, where soon destroyed when, as to my horror, as I was reading the magazine, I read that next week there will be a free top with "4 colours to choose from".
I am disapointed in you Elle. If I wanted such junk acumilating in my house I would go to car boot sales on a weekly basis, but I do not. Infact I only just emptied my room of such rubbish throwing out about 2 bin bags full. I do not need anymore.
You may then say "throw it away", but what about saving the planet? Being "green" and unwasteful? Producing all these things that people will just throw away is far from helping the planet and contradicts the concept of eco-fashion.
I feel sad to say that every week when I read Elle it does seem to be going downhill. Im not sure what it is: the content? the features? the celebrities? but something in my opinion has made it lose its touch. Maybe its that Vogue and i-D get better everyweek but my preference of fashion magazines is changing.
